Introduction to Film, TV & Theatre Props

We work with a number of high-profile production teams meaning that our film, tv and theatre props have been showcased both nationally and internationally which have been met with great acclaim.

We look forward to working on film, tv and theatre props because there is something quite special in bringing a character to life through their trademark props or building giant props conveying the time and place a narrative is set on stage.

Our film props have included hundreds of 6-metre-long bamboo poles for an upcoming movie, sculpting and carving polystyrene props of lifelike figures for Oscar nominated and acclaimed movie “Birdman” starring Ed Norton and Michael Keaton, promotional film props for the premier of Guillermo del Toro directed The Shape of Water and giant t-shirts on coat hangers for 500 Days of Summer, to name but a few. Our TV props have seen us working on varied productions such as the Jim Henson production of The Disney Channels Bear in the Big Blue House, TV props for Lazy Town and making a gold pineapple prop for Channel 4’s Taskmaster.

We’ve designed and crafted theatre props, art installations, events and industry showcases. We’ve worked with theatres and arts organisations by creating giant trees props for The National Theatre and Glyndebourne Opera and voice pipes for the internationally acclaimed The Play That Goes Wrong.

Our film, TV and theatre props push us to use the full array of traditional and modern prop making techniques – moulding and casting, sculptingtheatrical scenic painting, final production and shipping. Our theatre props can be made from a variety of materials, they need to be durable, high quality and easily storable. All our props are painted and finished to a high standard making them look as realistic as possible.

Our portfolio of film, TV and theatre props has been cited for its care, realism and attention to detail.
