Hot Sauce Presents Svedka Fountain

The brief

To make an impact for Svedka Vodka's UK launch we were asked to create a fully functioning fountain featuring over 1000 martini glasses, 16 tiers, lighting, seating and a reservoir holding over 600 litres of water. The fountain ran continuously for three days at Borough yard, attracting plenty of attention and causing quite a stir.

Well done, it was so, so, beautiful!

The Process

We built a steel base with a reservoir that could take 660 litres of chlorinated water and connected a high capacity pump with a control manifold that allowed us to fine tune the water flow and distribution. On top of the base we had 16 tiers of over 1000 polycarbonate Martini glasses. We made a seating area that joined around the sides of the reservoir base, finished with a brushed metal sheet, the seating had light boxes built in to display the Svedka logo. The Fountain was part of a three day event at Borough yard.
